Artist Erin Palovick introduces you to a Sound Walk — how to do it, where it comes from and why does it matter? You’ll hear curated sounds from her collected listening and a series of prompts so you can go out into the world and perform + relate to your own.
erin palovick is a multimedia artist who focuses on togetherness. her practice situates itself at the intersection of performance, installation, and research.
she experiments with a wide variety of materials and immaterials as a way to learn and unlearn, complicating frameworks and goals to listen out for a multitude of awarenesses. she works along themes of embodied perception and what it means to care.
palovick received her BFA from Georgia State University in 2010 and is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
